/WHY LATAM

LATAM x GLOBAL

As home to one of the world's richest natural resources and promising cleantech ecosystem, LATAM stands poised to become the global leading hub for cleantech innovation, vital for the region and global environmental health.

Discussions with 30+ LATAM Cleantech & STEER experts shed the light on some of their current limitations:

  • Limited international partnerships and VC investing opportunities

  • Limited partnerships between the public (Governments, Academia, Research) and private sectors (Startups, VCs, Private Companies)

  • Underutilization and support of LATAM STEER talents (2m+), as only a few get to work with (or build) cleantech startups, the majority remaining in Academia and IGOs' settings

outlining that joint cross-border cross-sector efforts - alliances - are imperative, to turn today's limitations into tomorrow's opportunities.
